New for 2008, The Newmarket Festival has produced an A4 poster template for organisations running events in conjunction with the Festival.

You can use this smart template to produce your own leaflets or posters to advertise your own event and promote the Festival at the same time. Click on the following link to download it (.pdf format, 240Kb):

We can monitor the traffic to this site and who uses what links. We can continue to develop and improve this site in the coming years but it will remain open access all as a community venture.

Suffolk County Council – Culture

Lisa Chambers is the new Cultural & Economic Development Portfolio holder at Suffolk CC.

The new monthly newsletter on cultural development in the county can be seen here.

She recently broached with me the possibility of a District wide festival for Forest Heath. She has seen the same gap we did – but linking to Mildenhall or Brandon Festivals should be a priority or focus for us in the next 12/24 months. After that, who knows?

I will work with her to develop the Newmarket Festival and keep her informed.

24th July Meeting
